SPL – The training goal

 

The SPL training goal is to teach a pilot how to safely and successfully fly a glider up to the level needed for obtaining the license, with

  • The right flying element management,
  • The right use of a glider, system and equipment in normal and emergency
    situations,
  • as well as to develop independency, versatility and completeness in flight preparation, flying culture, flight discipline and all other positive traits related to basic and navigational flying in daily visibility conditions.

  • 50 with FI, 20+ solo

 

*Note : Depending on total flight hours, it is necessary to plan additional number of flights in orderto obtain the minimum number of 15 flight hours required for license.

SPL- Conditions for starting training

 

  • The candidate must be 18 years old or if minor (minimum 15 years old), the written parent/guardian consent must me provided
  • Prior to practical training the CAD Student Pilot Authorization and medical certificate class 2 according to Part-MED must be provided
